Science Fair is Just Around the Corner!
The Opstad PTA is sponsoring the Opstad Elementary Science Fair on Thursday, March 28, 2013. This is a great opportunity for your child tohave some fun AND explore the world of science first-hand. Completting a Science Fair project can sound scary and intimidating to some kids (and parents!), but hands-on learing is the ideal way for kids to directly observe and understand science.
Please click on the "Science Fair" tab on the left-hand side of this page for more information, incluidng registration, project and display guidelines. The deadline to register for the science fair is Monday, March 11, 2013.

Mid-Winter RISE Registration Now Open
It's time for RISE again! Registration is now open for the Mid-Winter session. Classes run March 11th - April 26th. We have a fantastic selection of popular classes to choose from. For a complete list of classes and to register, click on RISE tab located on far left menu bar. The Book Fair is Coming!!
Opstad's Annual Book Fair is coming January 28th - February 1st. "Story Labratory: Reading Gives you Superpowers" will help promote literacy for our children and families and provide a fundraising opportunity for Opstad's Library.
